We believe that the best place to become true disciples of Jesus is in a community of faith where each member lives their lives with one another. This takes on many forms within our community. Whether it is your first time or you’ve been here since the beginning, no matter where you are on your journey to God, you are welcome with us. Our relationships do not have conditions or time-tables.

Like any relationship, as time goes on you may want to become more commited, and there are a couple of ways you can do that…

 

Covenant Partners

We believe that the best way to become true disciples of Jesus is in a community of faith where each member lives their lives with one another. This living of life together will take on many forms within our community. One of those forms involves being in a committed relationship with our church as a Covenant Partner. While this is not a requirement for participation, it is the best way to be involved in the life of the church and the lives of the people in our community of faith.

A Covenant Partner will be one who:

  • Lives to become a true disciples of Jesus Christ and has publicly declared that commitment through believer’s baptism
  • Lives a life consistent with the generous orthodoxy, ancient creeds and Scriptures of the church, as well as the Statement of Faith of our community of faith
  • Lives in unity with other members of our community of faith and seeks reconciliation when that unity is damaged
  • Lives a life of involvement in our community of faith, including participation, prayer, and giving (of time, gifts, and finances)
  • Lives a life invested in the dreams and desires that God has for our community of faith

Covenant Partners must sign a covenant stating the above, which will be renewed every year.Covenant Partners will be responsible for making decisions around major issues in the life of the church.
